Romper Stomper
The music from the film Romper Stomper was created by one member of the Bastard Squad (John Clifford White). Although essentially racist punk music, the songs help to produce the energy of a film conveying exactly the opposite message.
"The film follows the exploits and downfall of a racist skinhead group in blue-collar suburban Melbourne.
The notable soundtrack released on Picture This Records includes dark, energetic music of the Oi! genre. The film was nominated for 9 AFI Awards, winning Best Achievement in Sound, Best Actor in a Lead Role and Best Original Music Score."
